Hi everyone! I was thinking last night about my next blog post. I realized with all the patterns I've purchased and love, and the freebies I've found by following other blogs, I could share these patterns with you. For many years I made things from quilts, to clothing or crafts, but never got around to photographing them. Some were gifts so I don't have them. But fortunately, these last few years I've made it a priority to get photos of my favorite projects and keep track of where I got the pattern or tutorial. Today I want to pass these on to you so you don't have to spend hours and hours finding awesome patterns!
The first is the Ava Bag pattern I purchased from Joanns in the section next to all the quilting books. I love the overall look of the bag, the tie, the size, and the fleece lined sturdy pockets. Here's a few I made
Next...these absolutely adorable ruffle pants from the Etsy Shop ViolaLeePatterns. I can't tell you how many compliments my stepdaughter Madison has received when wearing these. They are a little time consuming with all the precise cutting, ironing and folding of ruffle pieces, gathering and trying to line them up directly across from each other, but they are worth it! As you'll see in my photos, I paired some of them with a knot dress and some with a pillowcase dress.
The apron knot dress pattern I paired with the pants for a couple of special ladies who had girls last year is from Little Lizard King and I found it on the site https://www.youcanmakethis.com/index.htmThe dress can be worn alone but it's even cuter with ruffle pants.

Up next is this FREE bag pattern I found here http://freetimefrolics.com/?s=tag+along+tote
It's so easy to sew and is a cross between a tote and a purse. I added some simple pockets to mine for my phone, lip gloss, etc. Here's a few of those I made
I purchased this next bag pattern on Etsy from Betzwhite and it's called the Caitlyn bag. Oh how I love the pleats poking out in between the panels when you place your things in your bag and they "open up." Love it!Next...these absolutely adorable ruffle pants from the Etsy Shop ViolaLeePatterns. I can't tell you how many compliments my stepdaughter Madison has received when wearing these. Now a pattern for a cute summertime top that's reversible. I enjoyed making these. They are the Criss Cross Tunic from the Etsy Shop WhimsyCouture.
Cute huh? I meant the top silly!:)
Lets not forget the boys! How about a FREE bucket hat pattern from http://alittlegray.blogspot.com/search/label/bucket%20hat
I made one for grandson Josh but only have a phone pic of him wearing it so I can't show him off. Well I'll be sure to get ole fashioned camera pics next time! Here's the reversible bucket hat with shorts I made and a tee I dressed up.
Now I must tell you I had never made a hat and thought in 30 minutes I'll crank this out like nobody's business. Wrong!!! Hats are made from several pieces, a lot of rounded pieces, and everything must be precise. I finished that hat in a record 2 1/2 hours! Woot Woot! :0
I also made Joshua some shorts, pants and ankle biters from a pattern from the Etsy shop ViolaLeePatterns and it's the "Trevor." You can have so much fun picking out fabric for these!
Need an apron for your lil helper in the kitchen? This pattern is The Shopgirl Apron from https://www.youcanmakethis.com/index.htm It's a good deal because you get sizes for youth-adult. This cupcake fabric from Joanns really was a good fit for this pattern.
If you want handmade stockings for next year, try this FREE pattern from http://www.diaryofaquilter.com/2012/11/christmas-stocking-tutorial.html This is so fun and easy to make. I made Josh one with Charlie Brown Christmas fabric and Madison said she wanted one with cats and what do you know? Found that fabric at Joanns too.
That's all on this camera card. Only four more to go through! Just trying to share patterns, ideas and tips with you and hoping you get inspired to make something today! Blessings,
Gina
